What makes Occulteo different: your documents are never transmitted. Personal-data detection, redaction and leak checking run entirely in your browser (WebAssembly technology). Nothing is uploaded to a server, nothing is stored, nothing is logged.

As a result, when you use the redaction tool, the publisher receives none of the data contained in your documents and does not act as a processor within the meaning of the GDPR for that content: there is technically no data to process on the server side.

The only personal data the publisher processes concerns, where applicable, account management: your email address (magic-link sign-in, no password) and, for a subscription, the billing information handled by our payment provider. This data is used solely to provide the service and is never resold.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have a right to access, rectify and erase this data, which you can exercise via the contact above.

Occulteo uses no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no audience-measurement tools. A single strictly necessary (session) cookie is set if you sign in to an account; it is used for that purpose only.

All elements of the service (the “Occulteo” trademark, text, graphic elements, code, structure) are the property of its publisher, unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization, is prohibited.

The publisher strives to ensure the accuracy of the information and the proper functioning of the service, without being able to guarantee permanent availability. The result of the redaction remains the responsibility of the user, who must check the produced document before any distribution.
